 NEW SEASON!
By Amy Camp
Production, Announcer

“Even to your old age and gray hairs I am he, I am he who will sustain you.

I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you.” Isaiah 46:4 NIV

September…Summer ends, and fall begins. A new season is among us. Despite the many changes in our life, the many seasons we go though, and all of the different changes which we encounter it is such a comfort to know that God is ALWAYS the one constant in our life.

He is always looking after us, there for us, always loving us, and carrying us! No matter how old we are we will always be His children and need His help, and He will always be our heavenly father who loves us unconditionally and will never leave or forsake us.

He will always rescue us and be there for us in the midst of trouble giving us peace, being our constant provider.

So as the seasons change in life and you go through many different changes, remember that God will always be the same.

He is the same YESTERDAY, TODAY AND FOREVER!!!!

DON’T OVERHEAT!

By Howard Tuten

Director of Broadcasting

Seasons will change as long as the earth remains. Everyone knows summer is a time of heat and pressure. Sometimes the heat is almost unbearable. We will attempt to find ways to stay out of the heat and stay as cool as possible. Some people may go to the pool, or head for the beach as a means of relieving the heat and pressure. After all, we can only take so much. We can find some relief simply by changing our garments to accommodate the new season.

Have you noticed how Spiritual seasons run parallel to natural seasons? There are Spiritual summers we must go through as well. You know, those times when heat and pressure are applied to our character to force us to produce? In times like these we need to run to the spiritual pool, which is the water of the Word of God to cool us off, and enlighten us with peace.

Natural clothes deal with an outward appearance, Spiritual clothes deal with an inward change. It changes how we view our circumstances. The Word of God tells us to put on the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness. Are you wearing your garment of praise, which is lighter and cooler, or are you wearing the clothes that trap in the heat and cause you to overheat (the garment of heaviness?)

Are you allowing the heat of the moment to get to you, or are you swimming in the water of the Word to relieve you from the heat? The garment of praise will bring instant relief to the inward man. Praise is a Spiritual act that changes how you view your condition. It magnifies the Lord which is over all seasons (Naturally and Spiritually). You can either magnify the Lord and stay cool, or magnify your condition and overheat. God has given

Change!
By Neil Hopper
Director Of Operations

Change is inevitable. The only thing that is here to stay is constant change. We often resist change probably because we are creatures of habit, and change is often uncomfortable. Who wants to be uncomfortable, if we can avoid it? You can be sure that God will continue to change us according to His purpose and plan. God is still working in our lives and we are being changed from glory to glory by the Spirit of the Lord.

While I am excited to see the changes that God is bringing about, I am also excited about some changes at IBN. By the time you receive this newsletter Immanuel Broadcasting will be undergoing some positive changes that should increase our coverage areas and we should be able to reach more people with the life changing message of Jesus Christ. Over the past few months, we have been working behind the scenes and have entered into agreements that will enable us to be heard at 94.9 HD2 (High Definition Radio). If you own an HD Radio you should be able to listen to IBN throughout Metro Atlanta. If you have not invested in an HD radio for your home or automobile don’t worry there is another option. We are in the process of upgrading our Woodstock translator at 100.9FM and most of North Atlanta will be able to receive that signal. As a result of these agreements, our Marietta translator will be changing as well. 92.3FM will not be airing IBN programming. If you live in Marietta and you lose the signal please try to find us at 100.9FM or 94.9HD2.

I know that it can be confusing but here is the thing to remember. If you now listen to 92.3FM please try listening to 100.9FM. If you have an HD radio and you live in the Atlanta area please try our new HD signal at 94.9HD2. Very soon our signal at 100.9FM will be better than ever so keep praying and thanks for listening to IBN.
