There’s a huge difference between spending and giving. When it comes to our spending we want-what we want, and usually don’t even have to pray about it. We will find a way to come up with the money to satisfy our wants. When it comes to giving “as unto the Lord” we have to pray about it, receive several conformations, and often times we still talk ourselves out of it. But the Bible says, “seek ye first the kingdom of God, and all things will be added unto you…” We focus on things instead of the Kingdom. We need to learn to use more discipline when it comes to our “spending” and allow our “giving” to become OUTRAGEOUS!!! Outrageous means; passing reasonable boundaries; extravagant, remarkable, shocking. Does this describe your current way of giving? We can’t increase by pulling back/withholding in our “giving” during critical moments of opportunity. Become ( focus your mind with purpose, and follow through) an outrageous giver and you will never be the same. ~Howard
